<p>The PIX belt range is extensive, covering all types of applications across many industries from power transmission belts for machinery, through to belts used in the heating and air conditioning market, and for garden machinery. The related PowerDrive range of bushes, pulleys, chain, sprockets and couplings ensure that Robert Pringle will be a ‘one-stop shop’ for all power transmission requirements.</p>

<p>The new Bando section on the website has been introduced to make life easier for customers in identifying the type of belt they require for an application.  On each web page devoted to a specific belt type there are full technical details, characteristics, dimensions and information on the belts’ construction.</p>
<p>The Bando range covers synchronous belts, V belts, banded belts, V ribbed belts, round belts, flat belts and power transmission belts.  Some of the applications for these belts include agricultural machinery, household appliances, office equipment, light conveyance, automatic door controllers, injection moulding machinery and heavy-duty industrial machinery.</p>
<p>The web section on Bando also allows users to download a full 60 page Bando product selector or a product selector on any of the individual belt categories.  Another useful facility is for customers to enter quick contact details and an enquiry message for instant submission via the website.</p>

<p>RPE has been working closely with Global Automatics Ltd, the UK manufacturer of Automatic Door Operators, on the development of a gear box for the new “ Premier Swing “ which is to be introduced later this year.</p>
<p>Global Automatics identified RPE as a supplier who could provide them with a variety of gear box options which could then be tested, in order to arrive at the best possible solution, both from a mechanical and cost point of view.</p>
<p>Del Thomas, Managing Director Global Automatics commented ,” the gear manufacturing expertise of RPE has been extremely useful in the development of our new product and by working side by side we are able to introduce a product, manufactured in the UK, which will meet both the competitive and functional needs of our customers”.</p>
